Phase 1

China access testing

We start by measuring how your existing site actually behaves from inside mainland China. We test homepage and core pages from multiple regions, capture first-screen rendering, and identify failing or blocking resources.

  • Homepage and core page loading speed
  • First-screen rendering time and screenshots
  • CSS / JavaScript / image / video / font loading
  • Third-party script behavior (analytics, fonts, maps, video, forms)
  • Mobile experience and regional access differences
Deliverables: China Website Access Report · Core page screenshots · Failed resource list · Third-party compatibility analysis · Initial recommendations

Phase 2

Mirror architecture design

Based on the test results, we design the right China architecture for your site — including domain plan, hosting region, CDN path, asset caching strategy, third-party fallback, and ICP path.

  • Subdomain vs separate domain recommendation
  • Hosting region and CDN routing
  • Static and dynamic asset strategy
  • Third-party replacement / fallback plan
  • Logging, monitoring, and ICP path
Deliverables: China Mirror Architecture Plan · DNS & domain configuration · Hosting / CDN architecture diagram · Resource replacement list · Go-live plan

Phase 3

China mirror site deployment

We build the China mirror from your existing pages — preserving brand and content while improving accessibility and load times.

  • Page content mirroring and asset synchronization
  • Image, font, JS, and CSS localization & optimization
  • Third-party script replacement or graceful fallback
  • Form submission adaptation
  • HTTPS, security baseline, access logging
Deliverables: Live China mirror site · CDN configuration · HTTPS setup · Logs & monitoring

Phase 4

Third-party resource compatibility

Many global services don’t perform reliably in China. We replace, remove, fall back, or self-host them so your site loads fully and consistently for Chinese users.

  • Fonts: self-host Google Fonts or substitute compatible families
  • Video: replace YouTube/Vimeo embeds with China-friendly players
  • Maps: substitute Google Maps with a China-compatible alternative
  • Analytics: replace or proxy GA / GTM / Pixel where needed
  • Forms: route HubSpot / Marketo / Calendly via a working bridge
Deliverables: Updated resource list · Fallback documentation · Compatibility verification

Phase 5

ICP-compliant deployment support

Launching a website in mainland China can involve ICP filing, domain real-name verification, hosting provider review, website-owner verification, SMS verification, and content review. We design a feasible path based on what you already have, and provide technical support throughout.

Three deployment scenarios

  • Path A — Your domain + your China entity. File ICP under your own entity. We provide path consultation, document checklist, technical coordination, and the go-live switch. Most stable long-term option, and the cleanest split: your entity owns content responsibility, we provide infrastructure and operations.
  • Path B — Your domain, no China entity (we operate). We act as the China website operation entity and file under our China company. You cooperate with brand authorization, content confirmation, domain real-name / transfer, and required verifications. Ongoing content safety review and takedown handling are managed by us as the operating entity. This path is conditional on your content fitting our acceptable scope and not requiring special-industry licenses.
  • Path C — No domain, no China entity. We allocate a subdomain on a domain we own and control (for example brand.ourdomain.cn) and host the site under our China entity. You provide brand authorization and content confirmation. We own content safety end-to-end, including filing, ongoing review, and any required takedown.
Important: ICP filing is reviewed by hosting providers and the relevant authority. Final approval and timeline are not solely controlled by us. For Path A you must provide accurate materials and complete required verifications in time. For Paths B and C, you must provide truthful brand authorization and content materials, and you may not publish content outside the agreed scope or in violation of mainland China laws and regulations.

Phase 7

  • China hosting environment maintenance
  • CDN and SSL certificate management
  • Page availability monitoring and alerting
  • Monthly performance and access reports
  • Small content syncs and compatibility fixes
  • Email-based technical support
Deliverables: Monthly report · Ongoing uptime & performance · Documented changes
